Crockpot Soups that help you loose weight!

I have a new love of crockpots. The idea of putting everything in that you want to emulsify and then let it do all the work, and you get delicious food and the end of it is just awesome. This week I made two delicious soups that yes are still "diet food" but you sure wouldn't know it. Here's the recipes:

Turkey Zucchini Sun Dried Tomato Soup

Ground Turkey 1-2 pounds
3 zucchini's sliced
2 tomato's
4 Tablespoons sun dried tomato's
1 cup sliced peppers (I had frozen ones with red, green and yellow bell peppers)
1 red onion sliced
4 garlic cloves diced
3-4 tablespoons Butter
5-6 cups water (depending on how soupy you want it)
spices and seasoning to flavor

Add all of it to a crock pot, top with cheese and sour cream and WAHLAH! I estimated per serving around 5-6g Carbs each. YUM! Serves 6.

Chicken Broccoli Cheese Soup

2 Chicken Breasts
3-4 cups Broccoli
5-6 slices Swiss cheese 
4 Tablespoons sour cream
3-4 Tablespoons butter
4 cups water
spices and seasoning to flavor

Add all of it to the crop pot, and wait for it to finish. 4-5g Carbs each. Serves 4-5.

I decided to let you personalize your crockpot soups by saying spices and seasoning to flavor. The nice thing about crockpots is you can add almost anything to it you have leftover in the fridge. All of these things vary so just use what you have and get creative.

You might ask, why all the "fat", bottom line is if you are eating low carb you need the fat. We need Protein, Vegies, Fat and minimal fruit to feel good and continue loosing weight.
